``Design of a computational linguistics platform''
アブストラクト：
The author will present the state of the art of a computational linguistics platform for the Sanskritlanguage. A structured lexical database is at the center of the software design. It uses the Zen toolkit, a general finite-state transducers toolkit based on functional programming, for its phonology and morphology layers, and a constraints engine for the elaboration of subspecified dependency structures based on polarised features for its syntax layer. The talk will present the use of such a platform as a corpus annotation assistant, usable for tree bank construction and lexicon acquisition.

``Penrose's arguments on AI''
アブストラクト：
We analyze Penrose's argument against the "strong artificial intelligence" premiss, as well as its logical alternatives. We then clarify the different positions one can take in answer to the question raised by the argument, skirting the issue of introspection.
